Respect your Parents

Your parents raised you since you were a baby. You owe them. Don't even say ouff to them. And don't even say Aaahhhhh to them either. Just be respectful.

The reason why your parents tell you to do things is for your own benefit. Well in most cases anyway. They are trying to teach you how to be successful in life. They are trying to show you the way.

Islam teaches that we should respect our parents and make sure that we take care of them when they get older.

The problem with Muslim parents though, is that they are too strict. It is good to be strict but don't go overboard. If you are one of these parents who give in to all the demands of your kids then you are nothing more than their servant.

Respect needs to be earned. Not all parents deserve respect.

Your parents wanted you(if they didnt,then they are idiots for having unprotected sex),you didnt want them.They brought you to this world without ever asking you whether you want to be born,and to be their child.So it is their duty to help you grow up,you dont owe them anything.Especially if they are bad parents.

However,good parents should be respected,and not just by their children.
