@tlow2323 yes Africans kept slaves but the slaves could also earn their freedom. Africans who sold their own to Europeans would have been sold in slavery themselves if they did not sell their own people - note Europeans had the superior weapons. Saying Africans should learn from Jews is ridiculous and colonial. Africans predate ALL races. "Without the knowledge your history you cannot determine your destiny." Tons of all-White movies bomb at the box office, with over 100 million dollars behind them...some are even crappy, but they're still supported....what's the excuse for that? All we want is a FAIR CHANCE. How the heck will they know what the people want to watch TODAY if they don't even attempt to try? They all don't have to be 100+ million.

@lwaller02 You seem to think people can only watch movies that include their race in them. Black people (and other non-white people) watch movies with predominantly white casts all the time. Why is it difficult for many white people to see movies about other races?

@PisceanBeautyy The audience in the matinee showing was full of older White folks and they stood and applauded the film at the end. The theatre was packed with both Black and White. Many wearing their veterans badges and hats.
