Ever since I was a child I wondered why this park is titled 'Satan's' kingdom. Nobody had the answers for me so I finally decided to visit and look for clues...

I believe it was given the name from the early settlers because the Native Americans that lived there would do ceremonies. Since the settlers believed that the Native Americans were doing "witchcraft" they named it Satan's Kingdom.

very beautiful park in deed. love the surrounding sounds also, my fav part would be the water fall around 1:17 or so also the bird at 1:43.

Pretty wild name for a Park! Is that the real name or one made up by the locals for some odd reasons?
