  • how did you get your 747 up in the sky i can't it takes like alot of runway to get it up(over runway)

  • Check your weights and trim :)

  • Fantastic video.

I've bought the passenger/combi add on and I'm having an issue whereby the official liveries like virgin/iran air won't appear only the CLS and white liveries do. Anybody else got this issue on FS2004? CLS are taking an age to try and sort this problemo out for me.

  • Hm, weird. Anyone have a solution for this?

  • love that aircraft, just got back from Orlando this morning around 7am, flew in to London Gatwick on 747-400 Virgin Atlantic (Jersey Girl), rough landing due to the storm warnings around southern England, it was major thunderstorms.

  • Awesome! Amazing!

  • @SamMaiisfield there is a technique he uses to record, you could have a shit computer and record these graphics!

  • @sjbvice yes, you could try adding them in manually, have you done that?

  • @sjbvice @Jon5700 Well something like that happened to me when I was installing the CLS 767! Just to the CLS website and download the paints and install them manually!

  • @jon5700 this is a great vid. how did u shoot the take off? taxing towards camera when turning on runway (0:48) and having a "fly by" while start from the distance...(0:56). Did you use active camera 2004? thx for help

  • @Jon5700

I do. the file in your Microsoft FS2004 files labeled Liveries or Colors...its probably corrupted, happened to me too with the CLS A330-300. Theofficial liveries for Delta and Air Canada werent showing up.

  • @NycDude66 Firstly, the A/T has a TOGA mode for takeoff. Second, you aren't setting your trim, and that's why you can't take off. A 747 is always very heavy and needs its stabilizer trimmed for takeoff, and that realism was included in this add-on. Slide the trim handle next to the throttles back so that the trim is at least 3 degrees nose up. Once that's done, pull lightly back on the yoke at your rotation speed and you'll lift off. If you need proof I know this, I have a CLS 747-200.

  • Jon, I got this and when I take off I go over the edge of heahrows and amsterdams longest runways. I thouht how unrealistic. So pleasse help me. I had to get up off the ground like this: i set auto throttle to 200 - 250 knots then when it there i set the vrticcal speed and it gets up and i thought. WTF!!!! so how do you really manually take off the CLS 747? with out having to use the auto pilot. it looks so unrealistic with A/P please help? :(

  • i subbed

  • pmdg 747 better
