I played requests on the violin for the Lawton's 60th anniversary party at Minnick's in Dundalk, Maryland Saturday October 3, 2009. I was asked to play I Love You Truly and this is the movie scene I recalled to pull a rabbit out of my hat!

Carrie Jacobs Bond is the song writer. Now most often performed by barber shop quartets, I think my favorite version (I have seen it only once as a small girl) was done by Jeanette McDonald and Nelson Eddy. Love the clip, thanks for posting it. =)
