  • Considering that the Big Bang theory is now thought by some to be a collision of demensional membrains wondering if smaller membrain contacts may be inpart a source of gamma Ray bursts and perhaps used to plot locations of such membrains. Certainly the universe is one infinite mystery wrapped-up in an Enigma

  • possibly thr is a star which is read to burst soon enough which will creat a gamma ray burst which will make the earth get extinct and tht can happen any time

  • and at the same time beautiful

  • This looks alot like the clips that the History Channel used for its program Mega Disasters: Gamma Ray Bursts. It was an excellent program for anyone who finds this interesting.

  • Awesome video. If one of these things happens within 6,000 light years of us, we could seriously all be pwned.

  • some parts of space are vary violent and scary :P

  • great Steve!!beautiful and also its very inportant in our sorounding.

  • What is the meaning of it all? Whatever power is out there I guess we should all be glad it's here, but you don't have to worship it unless you're really diehard.

  • Not exactly. Light is only affected by the gravity of a black hole because its gravitational pull is so large. A star, even a large one, can't produce enough gravitational pull to hold in light. If they could, then we couldn't see star in the sky becasue we wouldn't see the light. When a star collapses into a black hole it is in fact being pulled into the black hole. Although most of them collapse and explode before they are completely pulled into the hole.

  • tell me nothing created this...that it has no purpose....Virginia there may be no Santa Claus but there is a force out there that is mind numbing. intellegent and beyond powerful.
