The world has witnessed a string of shoe-string budgeted films winning accolades while entertaining the audience. A good script never lets down a film. Sad that the film production industry has become a bait for a political family and. I've not seen any political genre in Tamil in the recent past. I think the film makers are losing their freedom of expression. Tamil Cinema is being suppressed by politics. Guys of 20-30s are shelling out 30-40 crores for a film as producers. Howz it possible?

I'm happy for GVM and his guts to venture into multiple projects. GVM has such a huge potential of a world-class film maker that he'll go places after Mani Sir. I like his uncompromising passion for sensible cinema which is commercial and still critical. Being an aspiring film maker, He's one of my inspiring film makers. I'm sure his Nadunisi., Veppam, Azhagar.... will all be path breakers. I want him to make films like "There will B Bld" or "No Country 4 Ol Men". GVM, avoid big budget masalas.

@SASIKCHANDRU Kamal Hassan is the best actor alive in India. He is the most versatile actor you will ever find there. Rajini is the most entertaining tamil actor. He may be more popular, but not a better actor.

Kamal is such an amazing actor that even if people say he's better than Sivaji, it isn't such a crazy thought.

Now, Ajith hasn't reminded us about his acting skills with his last couple of films, He needs better scripts or it won't for him. I don't think Mankatha will be that good..

Gautam should not work with mass stars like Ajit. Customization for Ajit's celluloid image will hamper the creative process of Gautam. Unless, Ajit gives a free hand to Gautam, the combination may not yield the fruits that normally Gautam films produce. If they can do a trade off, then it must be a risk to watch on the screen. Ajit must ignore his ballooned image and act for sensible scripts. MGR-Sivaji, Rajini-Kamal days have gone by. No more super heroes in Tamildom. Tamil actors know it well.
