u got good words, for my fellow Black-muslim Boubacar Traore, but dont get it incorrect, because this broda right here is not a mandingo, he is a Nilotic-Songhai.... from Mali..
and i am a Kushitic-SOMALi, from east-african coast...
so yeh just wanted to correct you on that, and yes nuff blessings towards all myf ellow black-muslims of Africa, including malian's(west-Africa) and my own fellow Somalian's(east-Africa)

Yes I support the motion. It would be wonderful if someone could translate the lyrics of this song . I have read many versions of the Sundiata tale, I was so in the love with this song/epic I even named my son Sundiata. Therefore I would love to know what this song says since it has been the soundtrack throughout everything I've read on Mali
yes i uncle karkar keep on preaching the truth my broda , tel them don f..... with the malians kings and queens. none can stop us, we got d protection and d blessings. big up to uncle karkar and all the mandingo empire. one love
So this is the origin, root and inspiration of the melodies of groups such as Pentangle. Africa, and Mali in particular has a truly amazing musical heritage. So much music, labelled 'Celtic' is in fact African in origin and inspiration. Respect - and lots of it is due. Musicians such as Boubacar Traore are a real revelation. They are the precursors - everything else is derivative.
I'm Nigerian, I Have absolutely no idea what he is talking about but his music moves me...
