@TWB141 2004 was supposed to be a good year for VH, it was supposed to be not only a comeback but The Return of the Mighty Van Halen. They tried to make it look like everything was hunky-dory and peachy keen, but in all actuality the reunion with Sammy reopened old wounds. Ed and Mike couldn't stand each other, Sammy as much as I love him, sang weakly and looked horrible, didn't even play guitar and of course Eddie just couldn't put the bottle down....

in Hartford, Sammy was no where to bee seen until he came out with the words "HIGHER and HIGHER" and the lights turned on him and he was up in the rafters near the ceiling above the crowd.....It was a great moment.

I saw this tour. I saw them in Greensboro on their first date. It's still the best concert I've ever seen. A dream come true.

I've heard mixed about this tour. Some said it was amazing, others said it was terrible. This vid seems pretty good, though Sammy's voice is strained and he looks kinda bad/outta shape. But I notice Eddie's kind of off doing his own thing during this song while Sammy and Mikey play to the crowd and stuff. Some of the guitar seemed off too. But this was pretty good. It's just a shame to see such a good band fall apart and destruct the way it has.

It was well known that Eddie was drunk alot on this 2004 tour. Besides the VHIII lp with Gary Cherone, this is another very bad moment in VH history.
I like both the DLR and Hagar era's. But got to say that live, VH was far better with Sammy. All tours with Sammy sounded great(except this tour/vid)....the F.U.C.K and Balance tours sounded awesome.
Sorry DLR, your studio lp's with VH were great and will always be classiv but I have no time for your BS showman antics on stage with VH.
