@Yobrowannabroyo 6-12 is for muscle mass for upper body, for legs is the range quite wider.. I was doing 3 months legs workout where I didn't go lower then 15 reps and it worked for me well..

@Cavar21 It doesn't make you more then a man, it just means you're doing the squats properly, and not wussing out.
And that statement for lower reps and more reps is false. 6-9 reps is for muscle mass.

@Yobrowannabroyo nobody is talking about how deep you should do them.. you can do them so deep that u touch your butt to the ground so you can be more "man"..

squats really work when u do them properly but if u do really heavy weights it's really dangerous for your lower backn and knees..if you workout for muscle size you can do lighter weights and more reps
