what is your favorite filipino food (aka "ask the locals")? 3

a true farmers market....its astonishing the various fruits and vegetables. i'm embarrased to say that i even bargained for any prices considering how cheap it is and how much poverty is around. did i seriously just freaking bargain a quarter? shame on me...never again. chew on this: these women not only grew the fruit/veggies...they help pick them...helped transport them...and stayed all day to sell. oh yeah, and they raised their kids. please dont bargain...pay the asking price.
