Final Fantasy Tactics Title Menu and Demos Compilatation
---
This is the opening to Final Fantasy Tactics on Playstation, both the Title sequence, and the demos that play when the game is left idle on this menu. All have been compiled into one video for easy viewing from the public.

Plot Sysnopsis:
A warrior takes sword in hand, clasping a gem to his heart. Engraving vanishing memories into the sword, He places finely honed skills into the stone. Spoken from the sword, handed down from the stone... Now the story can be told... Square Presents The "Zodiac Brave Story."

The Kingdom of Ivalice: forever guarded by the twin headed lions and by the sun that shines upon them... A year after the defeat of the 50 year war. The King had died from a terminal illness earlier and the prince to succeed him was only 2 years old. This meant his guardian would actually reign in his stead as King. The Queen's elder brother Larg was designated as guardian, but fearing an oppressive reign from the Queen, the parliament ousted the potential prince appointing instead the King's cousin, Prince Goltana, as the guardian. Prince Goltana and Prince Larg are both respected generals who proved themselves in the 50 Year War. Prince Goltana had the support of the powerful Nobles, but disinfranchised Nobles and knights clearly supported Prince Larg. The Black Lion symbolises Prince Goltana and the White Lion symbolises Prince Larg. This is the beginning of what will later be known as "The lion War."

Another Final Fantasy "Oh God, please save us, thy sinful children of Ivalice." The Lion War! Is the truth only what we can see...? Blame yourself or God. Producer Hironobu Sakaguchi (Final Fantasy Series) "Remember how father taught us to play that reed flute?" Where did we go astray?

  • yes! yes! YES! i am so gonna try this~ thanks for recommending!!

i admit that i missed half of my life for not being able to play the previous FF (not to mention i HAD the cds but my cousin scratched them resulting to the said outcome T^T), but i think i'm gonna do my best with this one! the whole kingdom concept really got me interested~

    wish me luck!

  • @tomoyo14 Right on! I wish you luck and adaptation, it is a fun game and revolves around the battles / shopping / more battles, but also is heavy on the plot (storyline). The bar in chapter 2 give propositions, and a fur shop becomes available for chapter 3 if you go around poaching monsters with a certain ability, and that's about all I will say.

I hope you enjoy it and let me know how your doing in the game from time to time if you want, like if you game overed during a certain battle, etc.

  • I also have played the PSP version of this game, but I can't get through it worth my life.

  • Hmm, my suggestion for the PSP version is to look over the tutorial. Lot's of new players to this game seem to have a hard time, and yet almost none of them even bother to skim through the tutorial mode in the main menu. It's actually a great resource for learning the game to get by on. Random battles are important, you can level up (not so important), and gain JP (job points) for abilities for each unit, JP is important and skills can get you through this game. Proper equipment is also a must.

  • YOU READ MY MIND! I love turn based fighting games like this! I plan on sooner or later doing the GBA version of Final Fantasy Tactics. I've got one of the best teams on there on my real GBA, so yea.

Thanks for the recommendation, Mr. Mind Reader. :D

  • Trust me, check out the tutorial option at the title screen menu and learn about Zodiac compatibility and other important things.
