I saw the 787 taxi at the Boeing HQ in Seattle, Washington a few years ago. It was one loud mother fucker.

And, yes, it is a business.
You have to earn a profit, otherwise you're not a business. And, if you're not a business, you can't really mass produce planes.
But, you can be safe while running a profitable enterprise. All you have to do is work hard, do the job ethically, and do it right.
