What i mean to say is that Messi is the best today, thats that. Yet its not like he single-handedly does everything and wins championships on his own, look at the players around him in Barca. With that midfield anyone would be top player today. Im not taking any credit from him, but thats a punctuality that favors him a little cuz its not like Barcelona is Messi and ten others

@Carlos19xd3 who says the players u mentioned are NOT in that same category? They are all legends of the game. Messi is too, or will be soon if he keeps performing at this level consistently. The fact remains that he's the best of his generation and has been very consistent and decisive at the highest level at the most difficult time for an individual player to shine in football history. And yes, I do NOT consider the World Cup as the 'highest level' in today's game.

@crazygamer241 Why doesnt he seem like a good person? Because he had a crippling addiction? Thats nonsense. He never participated in a national tournament because he played for Northern Ireland, I'm sure if NI had the players around him that Brazil or even England had he would have won a world cup, but they didn't. The United team he played in reached its peak winning the 68' European Cup and after that he had to carry an ageing team.
