If anyone is interested in the recipe for the cookies and icing I found the entry on her blog.....Kids, Cakes, Dishes, and Laundry... in that order (but knitting trumps all)

I see people ask the same questions a million times, what is the icing being used. you should probably put it in the description box on all the videos in this series...so you dont have the answer the same question over and over. You really did a fantastic job on these.

Such cute cookies! Thanks for putting up these videos, I've just started baking and I never really knew how people got the icing on their cookies so smoothly. These videos have been really helpful, thanks again for uploading them. :3

I work so cute thanks for sharing
Does the background get white when dry or does it have a translucent look?
Thanks

@jmugrad1 The icing will be a little translucent unless you add white food coloring to it. I often add a drop or two of the white food coloring to all my colors to make them opaque, especially when painting one color over another. It helps each color stand out and not blend in with the others. But remember to let each color dry very well before adding another color, or they will run into each other after awhile.

Thank you so much for sharing your decorating tips. Currently, I'm using royal icing. Is this what you are using?

No, I don't use royal icing. I find it too hard, and it doesn't taste very good. The recipe is in the comments section of one of the 4 videos...#2 I think.

i just watched all 4 and I can't wait to try it. Thank you. How do you package them to send off?

I just sent some to a friend as a trial. I stacked them in a tin with wax-paper underneath and on top to cushion them. Then I wrapped the tin in thin foam, put it in a cardboard box and stuffed packing paper under and all around it to insulate it. I believe it arrived with the cookies intact.
