how fast does it shoot and how many grains tip and arrow

Looks too complicated to want to bet your life on. If you had it in your pack and took a tumble when you got thru dusting yourself off you'd realize you had broken your weapon. I don't see the advantage it offers over a normal crossbow or even a slingshot/slingbow type setup.
