in the episode it did not say or gave any clues to whether they were married or not. but also remember in Clark's dream it there was a dream and i believe the year was not 2017 but sooner. I don' know but i think seeying how lois loves him has probably propelled him to move things along. anyways time travel is subject to the possibility that the traveler might change time, or alter it in some way. anyways, who knows i'm just happy and wouldn't it be nice a clois engagement.

However, in the future with helmet head, she did have a ring on. I also think that they'll be engaged, if not married by the end of the series. If CW is too stupid to pick up the show for another season, it should run on HBO. How cool would that be. Love Clois!!!!

@ngonza33 I personally think clark asked the general if he could marry lois. I have no doubt they will be engaged before series end.

sorry to butt in on ur conversation...on E! website they have a poll about who's gettin engaged out of like 10 on screen couples. Eash week they narrow it down. There's 3 couples left, Clois is still goin strong in the last 3...i never thought it would be Clark and Lois (oh but did I so want it to be...clois 4ever) but after the 'Ambush' episode I definitely think it's Clark and Lois, especially if they are still in the running in that poll. :-D
