MCN rides two very special Triumphs - the factory Daytona 675 that Chaz Davies is racing in WSS this year and a Street Triple R from the one-make race series supporting WSB in 2010. Read the full test in this week's MCN, on sale Wednesday 31 March.

  • Bikes for life!

  • Really like a lot of MCN's camera work as of late. Almost has a Top Gear feeling to it.

  • The shot of the street triple at 1:16 is just badass.

  • What's Valenciar? ;)

  • @soap0688 And we all love Top Gear :)

  • My 2010 675 SE has over 15,000 miles now. I've not had any of the referenced problems and I believe the engine is the same in both bikes. I'm still glad I bought it to replace my 1979 RD 400 Daytona Special.

  • hey can you tell me what exhaust is on the daytona 675? you said its a factory 675 but was just curious if thats stock exhaust. hope to hear from you soon

  • The lack of answers actually says a lot about the Street Triple reliabilty;) I'm going with the Monster 796. Anyway, thanks!

  • 1:10 - 1:30 did i jizzed my pants !!!!

  • Initially I wasn't sure if I liked the look of the Arrow 3-into-1 exhaust on the Street Triple R....but after seeing it in action a bit in this I'm sold. It's a worthwhile compromise to have an exhaust like that and not have foot pegs for passengers.
