The guy is a complete lunatic, who fell ass-backwards into money after being homeless for a few years. This was filmed at his pricey pad on the water... yup. And to further answer your question, he's probably not a genius, but definitely talented, and a character for sure... to say genius; was an exaggeration, to put it bluntly.
Glad you had reservations. Shows you've still got your sanity.
