@badinia Thank you very much!

I think it would be truly beneficial (to me anyway) if you could tell us what kind of foundation we could fill the pods with that is cheaper than Temptu. Can you buy Temptu for professional systems in larger cheaper quantities and use it? It would have silicon in it right? Is there a difference I'm missing?
-
@dsmall360 I have refilled with a water-based foundation, and it is nice but does not apply as finely as the regular silicon base- the overall effect is slightly heavy I have not yet experimented with refilling with a TEMPTU silicon base.
-
Have you tried refilling with a liquid foundation?
-
OK, an ultrasonic cleaner (such as you'd use for jewelry) is a GREAT method to clean out Temptu pods. Fill 'em with water and run them once or twice, and they come out squeaky clean!
-
@jaimebussell Yes, that's mostly what I want them for! Well, that and spiders- I have done the Blade Runner "Pris" black airbrush "mask", and a lot of shaping/highlighting with a white pod.
-
Have you tried using those darker crazier colors to use as eyeshadow? I know some airbrush systems have eyeshadow options, but the home Temptu kit doesn't seem to. =\
-
@Shannaranelf No, but don't worry- You really will use up the foundation in two months or so! Thanks so much for checking in, I hope you get some crazy color pods made!

Any idea on anywhere one could Buy empty temptu airpods??? I have found those temptu colour kits you showed and would like to use them. But I haven't even emptied yet my first set of four pods.... Is there anywhere one could get empty pods to be able to clean and refill with these new colours that you know of?

OMG thanks so MUCH for this! I've been waiting to find out info like this!!!

Don't look into the infinite mirrored hallway. You may time travel backwards or forwards in time, and I have no way of knowing which.
Excellent info thx for sharing! Im actually going to do the reverse-empty the tanning primer pod and put it in my graftobian pro airbrush machine!

@paradine1000 Awesome! Hate to say, I actually prefer the Airpod highlighter to the pro highlighter, too. It's thinner and lighter in color, even though they're both "Champagne."

Thank you for the question, I like to use the TEMPTU SB PRO liquid, which is cheaper per unit than the prefilled pods. Check Temptu.com on the PRO side!

The thinner is the glycerin cleaner that the traditional temptu airbrush comes with for the S/B formula. when you clean out the pods, try NOT to use water, as when this combines with the S/B formula, it curdles.. I thought I was the only one to figure this out ha ha.. cool!

@CrystalPowderVision Awesome! Thank you for the hot tip! Yes, I do tend to curdle what's left in the pod, but then flush it with alcohol and leave it in the ultrasonic cleaner for a bit.

Thanks for this! I would have tried this and i'm glad you showed us that it works! Any idea of what would be good to use for a shiny highlighter and bronzer? I know they have it but I don't feel like spending $80 bucks on those right now :)

@MusicalVerenice Look for TEMPTU S/B Pearl or Highlighters on Ebay, you can save a couple bucks- but honestly, the premade highlighters work GREAT and last FOREVER- you wouldn't do wrong buying a premade!
