It did get kinda weird, especially in Beast Machines, but no one should like that series anyway. <=P

And I totally agree with you about Energon's CGI, at least what little 2D animation it did have was gorgeous!

Also you should check out some G1 episodes, it's not the best but it definitely has it's moments. My favorite episodes are Roll for it, Heavy Metal War, The Ultimate Weapon, and Call of the Primitives, cause of their cool animation. =D

@cannonfodder4000 Beast Wars had the weirdest Transformers (Not the lamest) Energon is good, except it was in full 3D. It was like a new version of Armada. Cybertron is also good. I never watched the G1 episodes but I watched the movie this year, it beats the shit out of the new movies.

The darkest period in Transformers since between G2 and Beast Wars...not that a hero can't be stout like a dwarf but fuck, Optimus/Convoy would never let himself get into that bad a shape.
