The video few have heard of and even fewer have seen. Daigo, one of the greatest fighting game champions of all time, does it again by parrying a 17-hit combo from Justin, playing as Chun-li, perfectly and finishing her with Ken's Shippuu Jinrai Kyaku.

  • ear rape

  • @lxLestatxl Assuming "average person" = american

    there is a new asian who no one knows and got a 13 win streak before leaving (he said something about ) and he did a lot of super parries.

    You know when you fall to the ground with barely any health and people do a super for a chip win? he parried it all. :/

    his comment: I don't see where the difficulty is at.

  • @Dice12K Keep in mind this was done in a world where youtube didn't exist yet so it wasn't that common to see this. Add the pressure of being in a tournament, all the noise from the excited people and I assure you this cannot be done by the "average person"

  • BLEEEEEH!

    why I'm not impressed?

    Every asian player in the arcade I go to do this against every scrub Chun-Li, Shoto, or whoever that launches a random super when they are trolololing.

    I'm not saying that it isn't impressive, but it wasn't as exciting for me to see Daigo do this as the average person would've. D:

    Some people ruin it for others. T.T;

  • Freaking love capcom. Trying to do this on 3rd strike online edition right now. XD failing

  • "Lets go Justin!" *Daigo parrys Chun-Li's Super*

    Justin:I hate you (insert guy who yelled Justin's name).

  • lol i want to see dudes face when he figured out he lost to a guy with no health

  • @mtdarookie Agreed

  • I just gotta wonder, has he practiced parrying that move before? Or was that just a spur of the moment thing where he just pulled a can of awesome out of his ass?

  • @NinjaBen00 Parry is basically like blocking, but you don't take any damage at all (blocking still takes chipping damage). You parry by tapping Forward when you're about to take a hit. Its very risky, if you miss the timing, youll get hit instead.
