  • I have very hooded eyes and my eyes don't look as ugly as the drawing. I also don't have that "uneveness" or triangle... I always had this feeling that no one knows how to do makeup for hooded eyes, but the people have them. It's so disappointing.

  • I love how you showed this technique on a picture, instead of a real eye...I've come to realize that it's hard to find a youtube video of someone that has the same hooded eyes, as I. LOL Thanks so much!!!

  • I'm japanese & I have never had the probelem of a "Triangle" on My eyelid. I don't know who you know that does, but 9 out of 10 asians don't have eye lids with an eye shape like you have drawn. I appreciate the thought of attempting to help us asians with the Hooded Eye, But truley & Honestly only ASIANS have the ability to do their makeup & present a planned picture of how it is & will be. Thankyou so much for the Effort, but this does no help for anyone who clicks on your video to GET help.

  • i dont have hooded eyes but they look beautiful. i wisht heyre were tutorial to get hooded eyes :(

  • The point of the whole video is to give those without that confidence to find it regardless if this eye shape was the one they were born with or something that has transpired over time. I am just addressing the overall issue that most women with this eye shape, and all other eye shapes for that matter, have no clue how to go about applying flattering eye makeup. It's the first question I hear hundreds of times on a daily basis in my profession.

  • @ArtBeautyandMegan again same technique just a different location on the eye... you do EXACTLY the same thing as i did in the video just you are setting more of the crease color in the center of the crease above the eye not so much on the outer edge. Please be very aware that younger viewers do have this eye shape naturally. I work in a very busy casino and know for a FACT that 20 somethings can have the exact eye shape in the picture regardless of age.

  • @mandith and please consider that there are MANY younger people who do have that exact hood/eye shape shown in that picture and they are in their early 20s. There's nothing UGLY about that picture.

  • @mandith again this is a VERY EXTREME case... if you can make the adjustments and execute this technique, no matter where the hood sits on the eye, natural or from old age, the technique is still exactly the same. Hooded eyes can be hereditary and can be slight, completely centered above the eye, or towards the inside, or not even noticeable to anyone else, it's about knowing the technique to apply it to anyone who feels that their eyelids have a hood.

  • @lavoulpe I dont agree with that statement. Maybe if you are talking about older women who develope one over time but people born with one arent less confident applying makeup than others with different eye shapes
