This episode, Monty discusses the fab 80's Valley Girls vs. Zombies flick, "Night of the Comet". Audio's kinda low, even though I reposted this one after trying to fix it. Hope it will be better next time, but my editing program's not so good.

  • Quite excellent review of one of my all time favs man! Watching this movie is a total blast because, as you stated, it's just pure, unadulterated cheesy 80's fun from start to finish . Nice movie collection too man. I see you're really into classic Disney. Darby O'Gill and the Little People is my all time favorite live action Disney film.

  • @TheAltair4 Yeah, I've got even more classic Disney I need to bring up from my parents' house, ha, and there's a lot more I still need to get. I hope to review some of that stuff eventually too. I did review 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea as my first review (this was my third review), but, man, those first two reviews were very experimental. Even this was, as I learned a rough way of including clips. My editing program's not that great (really lowers the sound quality a lot).

  • @TheAltair4 And, yeah, Darby's a top fave for me as well! Always watch it on St. Patrick's Day!

  • @slave2moonlight The Banshee scared the crap out of me as a kid. lol.

  • @TheAltair4 Ha, yeah, for a kid it was pretty effectively scary as well! Mostly great effects in that one!

  • @Johnlindsey289 True. Although, that alone doesn't guarantee that one influenced the other. I mean, lots of zombie films are apocalyptic.

  • @slave2moonlight

I mean both are apocalyptic zombie pictures you know.

  • @Johnlindsey289 Thanks. I don't know, but it certainly could have influenced 28 Days Later. And, yeah, I need to review Fido someday. Love that one too!

  • @SeventhSunBlues Thanks. :o)

  • Nice review on a Sci-fi horror comedy classic, i grew up with this as a kid in the 80's. Do you think it influenced 28 Days Later? you should review Fido sometime.
