Simply put, Pur filters are cheaply made pieces of shit, mine didn't last through one whole filter before it cracked and leaked in multiple locations. I would not reccomend them, and on top of that, I can't even find a way to contact their customer support through e-mail, I'm not gonna sit on the phone for an hour with these fucktards.

I made the video not for everyone to see but so the company could see for themselves. I emailed them and they sent me a voucher for a new filter housing and filter. That one still works, but part of the chrome cover came off after a month, and the water leaks at the faucet when you turn it on. This is not an installation issue, it is cheap construction. Honestly I would pay a $100 for one made in America of stainless steel. Cheap easy to ship junk from China instead.

The video was made for PUR to view so they could replace the faulty filter. I have not advertised the video or invited people to see it. Just used it to let PUR link to and see how their product was working. They replaced the filter housing...but the replacement housing this time was fake chrome and a month later the fake chrome came off. Ugly to look at because of the visible rough black surface and glue, but still works. I'm willing to pay more for a solid unit made in america.

My water filter farts every time I turn it to the filter position, then it says excuse me. I love it.

@coolissublime Same thing happens with mine. Not even 3 months old and the water on the filtered side doesn't even come out anymore. We checked it and when you screw on the top cover, the filter cartridge moves with the cap and it seems that prevents the water from coming out. Piece of junk.

You have to be gentle with plastic faucet mount filters. NEVER use the filter housing as a handle to move the faucet from side to side, as most people probably do. Grab the metal faucet ONLY. I mean, helloooo!

My Pur faucet mount (same flip model as in video) lasted 4 years, until it started leaking at the swivel joint, from normal wear. I educated myself about water filters, and upgraded to a better, larger, and cheaper per gallon countertop style filter. Pur is an entry-level filter.

I don't know what is wrong with mine. the water come out so slow! it takes a full minute to fill a glass and I'm getting a vertical crack. Bullshit. Never buying one again. Anyone like zero water?

just call 1-800-787-5463 in they will replace your filter right away. I'm satisfied with their customers service because after i let them know the problems of my filter they send me a replacement water filter...

Wow, my mom, myself, and my niece all have a pur faucet filter and all of them are leaking, exactly in the same spot as your filter!!!!!

How do you write to the company?

I find no address on their internet site!!
