Christmas Tree & Lantern Making Competitions 2010 are participated by all the 28 barangays of the Municipality of Balamban. Each barangay is assigned a fixed location at the E.S. Binghay Memorial Sports Oval, Balamban, Cebu, Philippines for the christmas tree making while giant lanterns on poles are to be put beside the fence in front of the new municipal hall. Indigenous or recyclable materials aside from christmas lights are required in the making of the christmas trees and lanterns. The said competitions are complimentary judged on December 5, 17, & 25, 2010. The said competitions are part of the activities that composed "Pasko Sa Balamban 2010" which is initiated by the Local Government Unit of Balamban headed by Mayor Ace Stefan V. Binghay and Vice-mayor Rosie V. Binghay. Barangays Ginatilan, Cantuod, & Singsing won 1st, 2nd, & 3rd prize in the christmas tree making competition, respectively.
