The second haunt at Sportland Pier Dead Zone wasn't completed yet this past summer it won't open until next summer so next year will have the same number of haunt attractions as this year provided nothing else is removed besides Junkyard. I hope the Mummy walk through stays. That was better than Junkyard anyway. But that could be on borrowed time, too. Morey's wants to turn the pier back into an xtreme pier sort of like it was in 1995 probably without any haunted attractions.

The soundtrack on the outside was from the Dungeon boat ride underneath Castle Dracula at Nickels Midway Pier that burned Jan 16, 2002. It can be found at the Castle Dracula "official" site home.comcast.net/~castlealan/ under wet log it's called "the dude". Oh well, despite the new haunt additions to Wildwood, it's one more dark ride loss. Wildwood lost a lot of haunted rides and walk throughs over the years. Only recently has there been a rebirth of them. This year had the most.

Yes, I can't believe it. I'm glad I went this summer from July 5-9. It was my first time back to Wildwood since June, 1998. I didn't video it this year though, some of the Morey's ride operators are funny about cameras even back in 1998 they were. I rode this ride in June 1996 and 1998, too when it was Casa Macabra and I filmed it in 1998. They changed the props in here, I wish someone would have filmed it from this year for posterity. At least this crappy dark ride will live on in our memories.

I agree- worst ride ever. However, it is also my favorite. The best part is the soundtrack being played outside the ride...... sounds like the tape is coming off the reel ------ d e aa ttt hhhh yyoouuu willl diiieee...------
