I thought this was beautiful. I love the mixture of both instruments. I would also love to hear Dan Tranh and Guzheng played together. Keith aka duncan3417
It is wise to learn about the circumstance before pass on the judgement. In this case, the zither player and the koto player are playing an improvisation. The zither player tried to tell the koto player where she was leading so that the koto could play along (improvise). That is why the zither player kept turning to the koto player.
This is part of the improvised duet by Kim Uyen and Mitsuki Dazai at the Tieng Hoai Huong program "Vietnamese Homeland Melodies" on July 28, 2007 at PCC/Rock Creek, Portland, Oregon.
