@nice2be42 14 years isnt harsh in my eyes since that was me she hit in the other car. overdosing on soma painkillers and going the wrong way on the turnpike. such an honest mistake huh?

14 years. Well I don't know how parole works in America but here (England) she would be paroled in 7 to 10 years. So she will invariably not serve 14 years.

That's why she's serving 14 years...
I thought it was just a mistake and the judge sentenced her to 14 years.. That would have been harsh. In this case, it's adequate.

GOD, what if something like this happen to you? to kill someone in one second, and to live with that....and to get 14 years....GOD, our life can change in a second.
