Haunted VW Touareg

My 2004 Volkswagen Touareg's A/C unit was acting up (becoming unresponsive, then returning to normal) so I had it serviced. The dealer replaced the control unit but the problem returned....only now it was stranger. With the car off, there was a strange knocking sound behind the dash, probably from the passenger side. To make things even stranger, with the car off and no key in the ignition, when the center console armrest was opened (to reveal the center glove box), the AC fan would turn on full blast and would turn off once the armrest was closed. This video documents these symptoms. Not surprisingly, the car's battery was dead the morning following the recording of these videos.

@dstarks80 VW's are not garbage, Every car manufacturer has their problems, i drive a VW touareg, its a safe, fast, reliable truck. Look at GM for instance, building crappy cars and trucks off of government bailout money, that my friend is garbage.

VW's are absolute garbage yet people buy them anyway. It's evident that VW doesen't test a damn thing they build. They just build it and sell it. Let's face it. VW's are lousy vehicles meant only for VW fans. Good Luck.
