The Starkey Wilderness Preserve is one of the largest undeveloped tracts in Pasco County and protects sensitive environmental areas in the fast-growing western portion of Pasco County. Starkey Park features 6.5 miles of totally uninterrupted miles through slash pine and palmetto fields. At the end, or the beginning if you start from the Park's parking lot, there are restrooms, water fountains as well as camping facilities. Along the trail, there are many cold water coolers and shaded rest stops. See a full review at: http://www.outdoortravels.com/biking_fl_starkey_trail.php
