@PaiZuriFAN LOL! They say it was kiddyish. I watched the first episode and couldn't really get into it, the theme is catchy though. Maybe some day I'll watch more episodes.

@wyrmqueen I can take that, I just wish they'd do it differently. So much of Sentai related activity is around the concept of "Knowing yourself translates into strength of purpose" that it always feels cheap to suggest one persons purpose is somehow superior to anothers.

It's a convention of the medium though, and one I'm more than happy to put up with for the rest of it.

@HotaruZoku Yeah but even in an ensemble cast, one of them is bound to be more of a main character than the other main characters. It's just how it works most of the time.

@wyrmqueen It's not that I don't seee the value in a primary charecter, it's just that Japan DOES group so well, so rarely ever giving someone a bit or pointless role that I sometimes feel a little...let down, when Red steals the spot light.

@HotaruZoku Because every show needs a main character to anchor the story and for the story to revolve around. In Super Sentai, the Red Senshi is always the main character.
