The painting of the water is partricularly impressive to me, the sculptural quality created by using two distinct shades. The richness of the "coloring" with black ink shows great vesatility in the use of the brush. At the end, the use of wash, shows how effective lighter ink can be used to change the impression of a painting if done, as is shown here, with great skill.
