  • I have an S&P 6 Spruce - got it about 7 years ago. The guy in the shop was surprised when I chose it over a Yamaha costing about the same. The Yamaha probably had more superficial appeal but for reasons I can't explain there was something more "musical" about the S&P. It has terrific sustain. I reckon they're great value.

  • @MrCanadian01 are you kidding? Martin ofcourse..

  • they have killer sustain....rivals my martin. 12-string simon and patrick here.

  • By far the best quality guitar for its price. The cedar version blows most of the $800-900 guitars away. I bought a 6 Spruce 8 years ago. It now looks and sounds like a cedar. These babies age well.

Yeah, I totally forgot about this video, since it was on the old account... coming back after two years of improving my technique, I almost puked to see that 10,000 people watched my playing when it was this bad. Although a word of advice- learn to spell and learn 'constructive' criticism. Otherwise, you're being a pompous dick with no youtube videos of his own to back it up.

I appreciate the feedback though... ha.

  • nice

  • @MrCanadian01 LOL A Martin. LOL Well both have unique qualities, well any guitar will. I have a S&P and a Martin. Love both. Love them in different ways.

  • whats better, a Martin or a simon and patrick

  • youre "slap" technique sounds like what happens when my 4 year old nephew gets ahold of a guitar.

  • also, Are they factory strings. They seem abit bright to me.

  • Anyone know if theres a big sound difference in this version (laminated back & sides) to the solid wood version?
