Once the tuber reaches a diameter of 12 inches it can produce a flower. My amorphophallus konjac can produce 6 foot leaf stalks while titanums stalks can get 20 feet.
@uberkernow hmmm there was a botanical garden i went to that sold these about 25 to 30 dollars in a pot the thing is that they will look like a tree for a while and after some time (unknown) a bud will grow and bloom. then it will wither and after some time the tree will grow back again. you alson need to have a greenhouse to keep it warm if you live in a warm climate than you an grow one i guess. ( they smell REALLY bad for 12 hours and neighbors might complain lol)
