This is the first time I had ever seen Eddy Mansfield wrestle. I would have loved to have seen an Ivan Putski leg workout. I am sure with his height, he could push some phenomenal poundage in the gym

Did they ever do an angle with that thing at the beginning by having a "fan" from the crowd punch Putski and when it had no effect, the "fan" started kicking him and lay him out and become a heel star? Seems like it would be a decent way for a new heel to debut in the territory and feud with Ivan.

I loved Southwest Championship Wrestling. It was Joe Blanchard's promotion, Tully's dad. This is where Tully developed himself.

At 1:35 some asshole starts yelling "CHOKE!! CHOKE!!" No shit dummy, it's a choke. Then that asshole's back again at 3:29. Mansfield's accomplice in that 20/20 "expose" show, Jim Wilson, died in 2009 (unless I'm mistaken). The ref is Eric Mannheimer. (Jeez, do you think he's German?)
