I doubt you have one and i bet you or your parents came from Africa or Asia (Bangladesh, Filipine ...) ;).

Yes my thoughts exactly with the E.U., that is precisely why I don't think much will change in terms of the U.S. being in the state it currently is, however it is not just the E.U., but all of these 'international' organizations that should be at the forefront of peoples minds. They represent the very definition of tyranny, as do all of these multi-national corporations who have entirely destroyed labor movements and workers rights across the globe.

I think that at least in the EU the system is going to transform into some kind of a chauvinist police state with economy tightly controlled by bureaucratic-capitalist symbiosis. AFAIK the US has moved towards this direction too. Although the US has acted like a neocolonial warmonger during the last 50 years I still believe that original American ideas of freedom of speech and individual effort can be sustained and will inspire the world in the future and I think these values will be needed.

I agree, but on the contrary I believe that even when the U.S. collapses economically, globalization, and consumer Capitalism will be alive and well in all other major nations i.e. China, Russia, India, Brazil etc. The direct power which the the U.S. will have in forcing these nations to submit to it's will is expectedly going to diminish, but overall I don't see much of anything changing aside from the middle class and poor getting the shaft.

The fact that American influence is going down worldwide is not caused by hatred of nations previously influenced by the US but by many stupid, arrogant and short-sighted steps America has taken lately. Your elites were trying to disguise grave problems by delaying solutions and creating more future problems. Sad thing is that this cultural and economical crisis of the US has been predicted by many people in Europe, Asia and even in the US itself. Bullying other nations doesn't hide ignorance.

It was a joke, and trust me, as much as you may hate the sphere of influence which the U.S. has had on your country and many others, there are many heads to the snake.
As for decency, yes, there are congressmen with good intentions, but like in most countries the majority are controlled and influenced by money from special interests i.e. not the peoples interests.

Yes, they apparently do have cars. You know, you could find cars in any country nowadays.
But I wonder whether there is any common sense and decent behavior in DC...

Well, I think that people have limited patience and no tyranny can stand up against the masses :-) I live in a post-communist country (Czech republic - former Czechoslovakia) and people already get disappointed by new corrupted "gangsters" in the government and corporations destroying traditional industries and jobs.
