This machine runs all day long until we have a axle snap. We record the time it took / pressure / revolutions then inspect the bushings, put in another axle and repeat at 800 pounds force ever second or so.
The Igus bushings have been in this red pedal for over 20 snapped axles so far with no issues. In this video we are testing some ti axles.

  • PS... parts were erased on that last comment as I was over charachter limits they said.

Props for commenting and ending o na positive when most would just rag and diss us. Cheers!

  • I'm surprised I managed ot break the axle on one of these lol guess i'm a pretty intense rider haaha

anyways great compny to deal with warrantied very quickley and best pedals I've ever used can't imagine riding without them.

  • Hey Calvin, you know what sucks ass, like truly sucks ass? When a axle breaks we warranty it but in truth we are forced to warranty our suppliers material!

They supply us material and we simply machine it into our axle in the machine. so if they mess up or when their material has a flaw it reflects bad on us.

  • I have these pedals, and dude, they're the best things ever, i'm buying a set for every bike i own or own in the future, straitline, you rule

  • Hey, any chance I can snag a set of those TI axles for real world testing?

  • Please put some green color on your parts... i was looking for a green wedge stem but i dont think you are make`n one, so i got a black 50mm and I LOVE IT !!

  • Greg,

Don't blame the material supplier. Get certs with every bar you turn. If you don't get certs from a reputable supplier, it's your own damn fault.
