Space Boogie is not a shuffle. It has a constant beat under a 7.8 ( 4/4 + 3/4 ) phrase.. The B section is in 4 then 3 then one bar of 5

Space Boogie is definitely a shuffle! It's 7/8 time and then 4/4 as you say but it is a signature Simon double bass shuffle piece.

I believe the hot for teacher intro is all bass drum.

I used to think that when it first came out. Alex uses electronic sounds on the 1984 CD. Other than me butchering it halfway through lol, it is played as shown just using Alex's old school electronics. Thx for watching!
