@ccorman1 : FRET NOT (pun intended) - Steve Morse has been around for quite awhile. He's got an impressive resume : Kansas, successful solo career, been with Deep Purple longer than ANY other guitarist, tremendous respect & some success with his first band , Dixie Dregs, & on & on. He was also a certified professional commercial pilot for a few years. The guy has seen success. Guitar Player or Guitar World won't qualify as "best guitarist" any more bc he's won it like 5 yrs in a row!

This just makes me sick to my stomach - its the fact that he's not so one dimensional like so many others today - this guy is truly talented - and by and large - the guitar world passed him by - I'm sickened and amazed.

Wow, an old Guitar.com vid! I used frequent that place and post there back in the late 90s and early 00s before it crashed and was re-purchased by some other company.
