  • @smlbstcbr I do agree that there is nothing wrong with a family... and "live and let LIVE" is what I go for, but that should go for other lifestyles as well. I am not trying to bash the "traditional family", I am mainly saying that it is not the only way to be happy, and not the only way to "survive".

  • "You can call me Richard." "Nah, let's go with Dick." xD

  • I'd love to know what people like Brian Brown think of a widowed mother or father raising their kids alone. Should they be urged to get married again as quickly as possible? You know, to ensure that their kids don't go without a mother/father figure?

And what about a single woman who is raped and falls pregnant? Call me crazy, but I have a feeling that Brian Brown wouldn't be in favour of her getting an abortion. Should she be provided with a husband for the 'well-being' of her child?

  • ...the short answer is they're fucking arrogant

  • why do you have to get married anyway? is it ilegal to form a family withou being married, if you are so sure you ''love'' someone why.... get married?

  • @MrROTD It is kind of weird isn't it? The concept of monogamy was rare in ancient times too. It all boils down to our desire to be wanted exclusively. You are right. How likely is it that our lover will always be faithful? Not very likely. In a perfect world, I admit that I'd like to fall in love and have this perfect loving spouse until I die. But that's fairy book stuff, and it's largely why people are so depressed when it comes to relationships. Reality is not equal to wishful thinking

  • @TheDolphinTuna good luck with that, monogamy is not practical at all, I guarantee even when you are married you will desire another and perhaps "cheat"

  • Marriage is a joke, men and women aren't designed to fuck the same person forever, it's a lie sold to us by the church. Did you ever wonder why there's so much cheating? It's because it's natural to fuck every person you desire, to try loving only one person in a lifetime is absurd

  • Although I myself want to have a monogamus, heterosexual marriage, I'm not going to force it on people who choose otherwise.

  • I dream of fucking Jeannie? I must've missed that one... sounds great!

  • @P0weredByPie Ha! You rule!

  • @demonella Totally agree. I have made the decision never to get legally married, because legal marriage is far too complicated. If it fails, the courts get involved with your life, stating who is entitled to what, who is allowed to see the kids when, and it can take years for you to be officially divorced. If I love someone, I don't need a piece of paper that says I love them, and if I seperate from them, I don't need a court order telling me to let them see their kids. They're THEIR kids too!
