'I honestly have no pity for them'

The BBC's Gavin Lee interviews 'Duane' at the Islamic Community of Greater Killeen the day after the killings at Fort Hood.

Duane : I'm not going to condemn him for what he did. I don't know why he did it. I will not, absolutely not, condemn him for what he had done though. If he had done it for selfish reasons I still will not condemn him. He's my brother in the end. I will never condemn him.

Gavin Lee : There might be a lot of people shocked to hear you say that.

Duane: Well, that's the way it is. I don't speak for the community here but me personally I will not condemn him.

Gavin Lee : What are your thoughts towards those that were victims in this?

Duane : They were, in the end, they were troops who were going to Afghanistan and Iraq to kill Muslims. I honestly have no pity for them. It's just like the majority of the people that will hear this, after five or six minutes they'll be shocked, after that they'll forget about them and go on their day.

@Pooternackle5 im not defending my religion by saying they did worse because EVERY religion has had people with in that religion and i personally feel that the Muslims community is on the edge of reform...Islam on the other hand does not need reform what it needs though is people who see it as it is meant to be seen and not twist things around to wht they want it to be..that goes for Muslims and non Muslims alike

@BigDJuggalo420 Why do Muslims constantly try to defend their religion by saying X religion did worse? Defend your own religion, but if you can't: at least admit it. I'm an atheist. Christianity did evil things in the past, but the religion has since reformed (after the enlightenment). Islam has yet to reform so all the evils it once committed are still being committed in the modern day. The individual is naturally good. But Islam can corrupt their minds to make them cause unspeakable evils.

@Pooternackle5 even if it were up to 50% they werent forced to stay and not taking Islam as dominate does not count as a breach of contract although killing and robbing Muslims and not allowing them to past through the land or to allow them safe stay is a breach and you act as if the Good Christians of the past didnt burn synagogues and slaughter jews and burn "witches" and so on and so forth...i dont see why i even try with you people who say Islam is bad when its the people not Islam itself

@BigDJuggalo420 The Jizya was not at a fixed 10%. It could go up as times changed and it wasn't a percentage. It was a fixed amount that crippled the spending power of non muslims unless they somehow managed to get wealthy. They broke contract with the muslim community because they wouldn't accept that Islam was dominate. Over the past 1400 years Islam has killed 270,000,000 people. When all the dissenters are dead nobody can go up against it.

@Pooternackle5 who do you think protects people? the armies do...and 10% is not "exorbitant" and the only wars that Muslims were the "aggressor" in were the ones where the cities broke contract and did teh Muslim community wrong...why would you think something that is so horrible could last 1400 years and continue to grow through conversion of willful people like myself

@BigDJuggalo420 Mohammad's definition of being warred against was following a religion other than Islam. He was the aggressor in every conflict on the Arabian peninsula. You will deny this i'm sure, but evidence of this was recorded by Islamic historians. The taxes were exorbitant and used to pay for Islamic armies and statesmen. The dhimmis were kept down because of these high taxes.

@Pooternackle5 i have read the history on it and all the people he "slaughtered" were at war with them and if they surrendered they not attacked any more but had to pay taxes yes they werent forced to fight in other wars or forced to convert but they were allowed to live in an Islamic community and paid their dues and taxes for the things they enjoyed like protection and schools

@BigDJuggalo420 The koran says respect christians and jews in one verse, kill them in the next. This also shows Mohammad's madness. But you can find out what Mohammad truly thought by reading up on history. He slaughtered countless Christian tribes and pillaged cities as well as numerous judeo-arabian tribes. The ones that remained were made Dhimmis. Dhimmitude is hardly respect, its second class citizenship.

@BigDJuggalo420 Yes, killing is only allowed in war. But you fail to realize Islam is eternally at war until all the world submits to Islam. Its a very interesting religion, but one clearly made by a murderous (and intelligent/manipulative) mad man.
