Lyrics:
I just felt the spirit of Love and
Tenderness passing my window.
Please, don't despair, remember the love that Mother Earth is offering to us.
If we are generous with her, she will make our
future prosperous.
Love, Life, Mother Earth
Love, Life, Motherland
Let's appreciate all the gifts she is giving us.

Angelique Kidjo
Agolo "Please"

  • Thanks for posting this song with such a wonderful slide show!

I first heard this song when I happened to watch the 1994 American movie "The Air Up There" while I was flying to California. That movie was a fictitious account of a East African basketball player being recruited on an American team. The entire sound track of that movie is stunning. I bought the movie's Cd & played it for years.

I reposted this video on my fb page & my website of video gems. Google jambalayah. THANKS!!

  • @Azizip17 Thank you very much. I'm glad you like it : )

  • Great Voice Super Artist!!!

  • Pas de mot pour definir ces moments c'était notre époque je dit bien notre époque à nous ...

  • @celena332 it's been a long time since I saw that movie and I can't exactly remember which scene in the movie that this song was the background music for. But I think it's when the American basketball coach first came to East Africa to scout the star basketball player.

And, yes, i also enjoyed The Air Up There movie.

  • African sounds........beautiful
