A series of excerpts from interviews with doctors for birth film for fathers,"The Other Side of the Glass." I've been wondering what I could do to help our friends in Australia as well as here in the US where midwifery is constantly under threat. I realize that what Australia and the US need (and so many other places where midwifery and women and baby's right are being trampled) is to hear the truth from the doctors who are bravely speaking out. I present "Doctor's Voices" as a way to support midwifery AND the doctors who support the midwifery model of care/mother-baby focused birth and reform of our current system.

Hello there.you are a bright and clear being and thank you for sharing both your view and the information. We have had two homebirths here in Australia (first transferred for emergency C-section) and now I'm curious as to when the cords were cut. I actually chewed through the cord on the second one (after clamping) almost on a dare from the midwife. She was joking, but I can get primal if stimulated. I'm sure thats how cave men/women did it. Anyhow homebirth is under serious attack in Australia
