MTV is 30 and they should be ashamed with themselves! Videos, CLASSIC HIP-HOP and other music 24 HOURS A DAY! & Daria and Beavus and Butthead... But now, they playin' these lame shows like Jersey Shore and Awkward, WTF is that? Anyway it's really sad...Or at least make a channel with all the classics on there.

For me, the Yo! MTV Raps' studio segments were actually more entertaining than the videos. I'm glad that such a classic era in Hip Hop was documented by such a classic show. I don't listen to Hip Hop anymore, it's like watching your favourite athlete/actor becoming slowly addicted to crack and no one believes you when you say how great they used to be.

@imaboutme3 Yep. I was in high school when MTV first aired, wow! 24/7 music with VJ's (they all had shifts, not pre-recorded. Witnessed the first video "Video Killed The Radio Star" 2nd video Pat Benatar "You Better Run" and yes saw the first episode of Yo' MTV Raps. They even had "The Young Ones" crazy British Comedy on Sundays 10:30pm Central which was edgy and crazy. Music & Fun. Whoever created the "Sex Sells" mantra and brought it to the youth of America may you rot and burn in hell.
