The phone jingle for Live and Kicking, 1998-9. This was the final year they used the famous number before changing to an 0845 number, meaning London kids couldn't ring in cheaper than the rest of the UK anymore, and quite right too!

I always thought it was a bit unfair to be honest. I remember once some CBBC phone-in game and the person on the line was from Shephard's Bush (and could probably see TVC from their house) and I remember thinking they would have been paying next to nothing for the call, whereas someone from, say, Aberdeen, would be paying several times more for the same call. At last having local or national rate number stops that.
