@Proud2BeAPirate sorry for the delay in the respsonse Download autohotkey (its free) f1::suspend lbutton:: Loop { send {space} sleep 20 If (GetKeyState("lbutton","P")=0) Break tweak the sleep time to make it for perfect timing faster sleep that the game can handle can cause the ship to fire slower (yea thats dumb)

Yeah I did the achievement with side missiles, too. A boss encounter takes a little longer but you kill way more trash easily.

the BEST way of archieving gold, in an easier way is to use side missles with drones.
get drone and side missile upgrade in lvl 1 and for all the next upgrades, just wait till they shift to bombs.
side missile->drones->plasma->bomb is the way they shift.
once you complete lvl 2 you should have around 20 bombs, which should make everything easy(REMEMBER: bombs can be used to destroy projectiles!)
