  • I've been searching for this for ages and now, at last, I've found it. Thank you so much for posting.

  • Sorry to say that unlike you're other commenters I know none of the proper names, nor do I know just where they should bend their legs or the position of the foot; But what I do know is you have put a great little Ballet on You Tube for people like me to watch and to greatly enjoy and I did,it was gorgeous,Thanks.

  • Somebody needs to teach them that in Fokine's time, a male danseur kept his foot in the sur-le-coup-de-pied position during a pirouette, not at the knee. It completely changes the outline of the shape, and it is actually harder to master. One has to wonder from what they reconstructed this and how. The last authentic production I know of would have been that by the St. Louis Ballet under Ludmilla Dokoudovsky.

  • Thank you so much for posting this ballet. This is the very first ballet I ever danced in when I was a teenager. I have been looking for footage and information on it for so long I was starting to think I had imagined it!

  • Thank you for sharing, that's beautiful!

  • what a shame - I cant believe that they would stage this garbage over Petipa's original "harlequinade" which is MUCH better in its original form.

  • This role is perfect for Obraztsova and her and Shklyarov have such good chemistry. I also like Yana Selina, she is beautiful. Thank you, this is wonderful.

  • Thank you for posting!
