Well... I said that was not enough Mario yet, so it is time for Super Mario Brothers Lost Levels (also known as the REAL Super Mario Brothers 2 from Japan)! There is just one little thing, though... this time I am going to play as Luigi! Why? Simple! I always liked Luigi over Mario anyways... especially once voices got involved. For this playthrough I will simply be doing 2 worlds per video as they tended to split up nicely that way. The game itself is much more difficult than the original Super Mario Brothers, so I will not be speed-running this game, but rather, aiming for as few hits as possible.

The first couple of worlds are actually kind of tricky... the game designers wanted you to know that this was meant to be for people who beat the first game. The gameplay is basically exactly the same, same physics and so forth. Luigi has his own unique physics, though. He jumps a bit higher and slides about twice as far when trying to stop from running. This can be a real problem in some places, whereas his jumping helps a lot in other places. One way or another, though, it is time to get this thing started!

Enjoy!~

  • I played this (including Super Mario Brothers) on SNES Emulator on Apple's iPod Touch.

  • @5:00: OH MY GAWD CUTOFF THIS HACK WON'T BE ACCEPTED ON-oh, wait...Nevermind ;)!

  • @FungiGamer Except, last I heard, Doki Doki Panic (the original) didn't sell well. So, odds are, many people who bought SMUSA didn't play the original version.

  • Super Mario Bros. 2 is not fake though, Mario himself also appear in Doki Doki Panic as well so don't call Super Mario Bros. 2 fake, even some of the enemies in that game also appeared in later Mario games too like Yoshi's Island (Shuy Guys) and Super Mario Bros. 3 (Bob-ombs).

  • @IceFireBlast you dont need to be an as. >:I

  • @retardedmario1 yes, it was on the SNES before they re-released it for Wii. Hence the ``RE-release``

  • Voices? Have you heard luigi's voice in Mario party 2?

  • was the super mario all stars game originaly on the SNES? (before to wii) i would like to know because im thinking of getting it.

  • i remember playing mario 1 on the NES at my grandmas when i was 5. i got to level 2 and i honestly had no idea what happened at the time. everything was blue and the goombas were blue and mario was different. lol

  • I've been trying a Luigi-only-without-warp-zones run myself.... I've gotten at least 40 Game-Overs by now, and I'm only in World 5....

Hey, I'm no tplaying for perfection. I'm playing just cause I wanna acomplish beating a really hard game.

I think I've screwed myself over though, I've never even beaten original SMB...
