This video is completely AU. It focuses on Harry's relationship with Hermione and Voldermort (and the Death Eaters). One relationship however becomes more important to him while the other one gets pushed further and further away. It isn't until the end that Harry realizes how everything was actually connected.

This was requested by the amazing prideandprejudice05. She came in first place in Sparralex's and my Crossover Contest. She asked for me to make an angsty Harry/Hermione video. And although this video does have some other bits and pieces to the story, I hope it lives up to what she wanted.

She's an absolutely amazing editor. If you love Merlin or simply fantastic crossover/AU stories, she really is someone you need to be watching. She makes me want to be better.

Harry's obsession with Voldermort and his followers is what keeps him a safe distance from Hermione. She wants to be there for him, but he continues to push her away.

Dumbledore and Harry soon learn the truth about horcruxes, and Dumbledore begins to suspect another truth that would be the end of Harry if he were to know. Hermione is the final hocrux that needs to be destroyed.
